Anesthesiology Physician Needed in Salem, VA

Start Date: June 2-Aug 1
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Shift Details: Mon - Fri, 7a - 5p (up to 5 ORs running each day).
Work Details:
· Support Staff: 650 cases a month and about 30-35 a day. 50% GI. NO Vascular and no Neurology. Cataracts patients are a 4. VERY busy. Blocks. 4 CRNA to supervise.
· EMR: No other EMR other than Meditech. We chart with paper anesthesia records
· Hospital Bed size: 11 + 2 cardiac OR’s
· Skills Required: GI, Oph, GS, Ortho, ENT, Peds; Must be able to do blocks
Practice Setting:
• Hospital
Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC required
· License Required: VA license required
· Certifications strongly preferred: PALS
Credentialing Timeframe: Temps possible
