A high-acuity hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an immediate locums assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled providers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working a broad range of general and specialty cases.

Assignment Details:
Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 2–3 months, with potential to extend

Schedule: Monday–Friday

8.5 or 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Call required – must be willing to take in-house call

Setting: Hospital

Case Types Include:
General Anesthesia

Cath Lab

Spine

Orthopedics

Endoscopy

Plastics

GYN

Note: No OB, pediatrics, or trauma during day shifts

ASA Level: 1–5

Pace: Fast – high acuity cases

Candidate Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Anesthesiology

Licensure: Virginia license preferred

Exceptionally strong candidates may be submitted without active VA license

Skills Required:

Broad scope of practice

Must perform own spinals

Comfortable handling high-acuity surgical cases

Willing to take in-house call

Patient Population: Adults only
