Job Details
A 300-bed, Level III trauma hospital in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced practice environment where providers should be confident across a broad scope of adult anesthesia.

Case Types Include:
• General
• Cath lab
• Spine
• Ortho
• Endoscopy
• Plastics
• GYN
• No OB, peds, or trauma during day shifts

Additional Details:
• ASA I–V patients
• Providers typically perform their own spinals
• EMR: Medaxion

Call Details:
• In-house call only – no call-back
• Saturday 24-hour call most commonly needed
• Call frequency varies depending on facility need

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Virginia license strongly preferred
• Must be willing to take in-house call
• Comfortable managing a wide range of high-acuity cases

Credentialing Timeframe:
• Approximately 90 days
