We’re seeking three Anesthesiologists for a 12-week locum assignment in coastal Virginia. This opportunity offers a steady weekday schedule, minimal room coverage, and the chance to perform your own cases in a hospital-based setting. Ideal for providers who are comfortable with occasional call and prefer hands-on work over supervision.
Position Details:
• Specialty: Anesthesiologist
• Openings: 3
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks with option to extend
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
• Licensing: Active VA license/Willing to license
• Board Certification: BE/BC
Schedule:
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• Call: In-house call and pager call required (weeknights and weekends)
• Overtime: Offer, but not expected
Case Types:
• General, Pediatrics, Endoscopy, Cataracts
Practice Details:
• Providers run their own cases (no CRNA supervision)
• 2 Anesthesia rooms
• EMR: Epic
