Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide hospital coverage in East Central Virginia. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a broad scope of cases.

Assignment Details
-Start Date: ASAP
-Contract Length: 2–3 months, ongoing
-Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
-Schedule: Monday–Friday; shifts 7a–5p or 7a–3:30p (8.5–10 hours)
-Call: In-house call required

Work Details
-Patient Population: Adults
-Average Cases: General, cath lab, spine, ortho, endo, plastics, GYN
-EMR: Medaxion
-Skills Required: Broad anesthesia practice, must perform own spinals

Practice Setting
-Hospital - trauma level III

Requirements
-Board Certification: Required
-License: Active VA License strongly preferred
