Anesthesiologist Needed in Richmond, VA

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Specialty: Anesthesiology (MD/DO)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend

Schedule Details:

Monday–Friday (7a–3:30p or 7a–5p)

8.5–10 hour shifts

In-house call required


Facility Overview:

300-bed hospital, Level III Trauma Center

EMR: Medaxion

High-acuity, fast-paced environment


Case Mix:
General, Ortho, Spine, Cath Lab, Plastics, GYN, Endo
(Exclude: OB, Peds, Trauma during day shifts)
ASA 1–5 patient mix

Provider Requirements:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Active VA license preferred (strong candidates considered without)

Proficient with a broad scope of anesthesia practice

Comfortable performing own spinals

Must be willing to take in-house call

Credentialing: ~90 days
