Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens | Virginia

Assignment Length: 6 months (with possible extensions)

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a daytime, Monday–Friday opportunity in Virginia. This full-time role offers consistent scheduling, flexibility, and a wide range of case exposure across multiple hospital and ambulatory settings.

Compensation:
$350–$370/hr. (based on experience and schedule flexibility)

Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (50 hrs./week, 40 guaranteed)
Flex Options: Full-time preferred; 2–3 weeks/month considered. Weekend availability a plus.
Practice Model: Medical Direction (1:3 MD-to-CRNA ratio). CRNAs perform general cases, spinals, and epidurals under supervision.
Case Mix: General, ortho, thoracic, OB, healthy peds, endoscopy, trauma, open hearts, and organ harvests (no transplants).
Procedures: Must be comfortable performing regional blocks (e.g., supraclavicular, popliteal).
Environment: Mix of inpatient and outpatient settings using Epic EMR.

Requirements:
Active Virginia medical license (required at time of submission)
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
AHA BLS/ACLS certifications required
Must be willing to perform solo cases as needed
Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days
