Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for locum coverage across three facilities in Virginia: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Leigh Hospitals.

Details:
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Contract Length: Through June 30, 2026
Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour day shifts; must be open to weeknight and weekend call

Locations: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Leigh Hospitals
Charting: Epic
Willing to License: Yes

Work Details:
General anes for adults; pediatric preferred
SpinaI and epidur
Regional anes
Obstetric cases
Complex vascular and orthopedic cases
Ventilation management
Central and arterial line placement
Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab exposure

Facility Highlights:
Sentara Norfolk General: 525-bed tertiary care hospital, Level I 18+ Trauma Center, primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School
Sentara Virginia Beach General: 273-bed facility, Level III Trauma Center, specializes in heart, vascular, neuroscience, orthopedics, and spine care
Sentara Leigh Hospital: 274-bed acute care facility, orthopedic hospital, accredited Primary Stroke Center

Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active DEA
