General Anesthesiology Opportunity – West Virginia
Start: June 1, 2026 (some limited coverage may be needed prior to June)
Duration: June–December with potential flexibility
Coverage Needed: Approval to add 6 Anesthesiology MDs
Schedule:
• 7:00am start time
• Primarily 10-hour shifts (some 8s and 12s possible; 12s not guaranteed)
• Providers are released incrementally as cases conclude and OR volume decreases
• Call is not guaranteed; providers may be asked on an as-needed basis

Work Details:
• Hospital practice setting
• Coverage across multiple hospitals within the same health system
• Patient volume varies by site
• Adult patient population
• Full spectrum of surgical procedures (kidney transplant only; no liver or heart transplants)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified Anesthesiologist
• Active West Virginia medical license
• DEA and CSR required
• ABA, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
• Preference for candidates with experience in Pediatrics, OB, and/or Cardiac

Credentialing:
• Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
