Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a multi-site hospital assignment in south central West Virginia, providing coverage across several facilities with a broad surgical case mix.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: June 2026
• Contract Length: June–December 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical coverage
• Schedule: Typically 10-hour shifts with some 8 and 12-hour shifts possible (12s not guaranteed)
• Call: Not guaranteed; may be asked to take call on an as-needed basis

Work Details
• Patient Population: Adults
• EMR: Epic
• Case Mix: Full spectrum of surgical procedures; kidney transplants only (no liver or heart transplants)
• Supervision Model: Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
• Scope Requirement: General anesthesiologist with experience in Pediatrics, OB, and/or Cardiac anesthesia

Practice Setting
• Hospital-based, multi-site coverage

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: Active West Virginia license required
• CSR/DEA: Required
• Certifications: ABA, ACLS, BLS
• Minimum Experience: 2 years, including experience with Pediatrics, OB, and/or Cardiac anesthesia
