Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Charleston, WV
Duration: June–December 2026 (flexible)
Schedule:
Standard schedule
Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift length varies (primarily 10-hour shifts; some 8s and 12s possible)
Providers released incrementally as OR volume decreases
Coverage may include multiple hospital sites within the system

On-Call Requirements: No Guaranteed Call
Board Certification Required: Yes
Setting: Float Pool / Acute Care Hospitals
Patient Population: Adults (Pediatric and OB capability required)
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: CRNAs; supervision required
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Procedures Include:
General anesthesia
Pediatric anesthesia
OB anesthesia
Potential kidney transplant cases only (no liver or heart)
Full spectrum of surgical procedures
CRNA supervision required
Coverage at multiple hospitals within the system (General, Memorial, and Women’s & Children’s hospitals)
