Cardiac Surgery APP Needed in CA

Location: Long Beach, CA

First Assist exp REQUIRED

Start: Aug/Sept

13 week assignment with the option to extend

Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, plus call
Call Schedule: every 3rd night, every 3rd weekend
Start date: August or September 2025 start date

Qualifications

1+ year of first assist experience in cardiac surgery
Must have endovascular vein harvesting experience
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Board-certified by the NCCPA
Unrestricted California medical license (or eligible)
DEA
ACLS/BLS

• Coverage Type: Nurse Practitioner CTS patients – in the CCU and on the telemetry floor

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: above
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Vaccines Mandatory?: Flu or declination
• Avg. Daily Census: CTS service line = 20
• Patient Age Group: Adult

Requirements:
1. Certifications: BLS; ACLS
2. Years of Experience Req’d: 2+ Years
