CV Surgery APP Needed in KY (will license PAs)

Job description

Location: Lexington, KY

Start Date: 2/2/26

Contract Length: 3-6 mo, option to extend

Shift Details: M-F 7a-5p; night call 5p-7a; Weekend call.

Schedule: full time coverage needed. Provider must be able to offer at least 1 week of M-F and call coverage.

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
• Patients per day: They will not be responsible for signing in as first call for any patients. Morning rounds typically between 5-10 ICU patients with faculty.
• Patient population/age: adults
• EMR: epic
• Skills required: MUST be proficient in first assisting endoscopic vein harvesting and CABG

Practice Setting:
• Academic/Training

Requirements:
• Board Certification: NP but have RNFA
• License required: KY license required for NPs, PA can license
• Minimum experience required:
o Must have at least 1 recent year experience first assisting in cardiovascular procedures
o Must have endoscopic vein harvesting skills
o Must be proficient in first assist
o Must have Epic experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 180 days
