Cardiology NP Needed in MD

Job description

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Start Date: 11/17/25

Contract Length: 3 month ongoing until a perm is hired (open to locum to perm candidates)

Shift Details: 8am – 5pm

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Work Details:
• Support staff: MD’s
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 days per week – ongoing contract
• Patients per day: 10-12
• Patient population/age:
• Department description: Cardiology Department - The NP will not be billing or seeing inpatients. They will assist with post procedure visits in the office.
• EMR: Cerner
• Special procedures: all cardiology patients
• Skills required: prefer experienced cardiology NPs.

Practice Setting:
• Clinic/Private Practice
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: required
• State license required: required
• DEA: not required
• CSR: not required
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
