Job description

An acute care hospital in the Bay Area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide weekend inpatient cardiology coverage. This role is to cover a provider on leave and is expected to run through early summer.

• Location: Burlingame, CA – Just south of San Francisco
• Start Date: 3/9/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential to extend)
• Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts per week
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• Patients per Day: 10 - 15
• Support Staff: Cardiologist and one other clinic person onsite
• EMR: Epic
• Licensure: Active CA NP license required
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, DEA
• Experience Required: Inpatient cardiology experience required
• Procedures: None
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days (expedited credentialing under review)
