Cardiology APP needed in MD

Job description

We are seeking an experienced cardiology APP to provide locum services in Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who is looking for flexible scheduling, supplement work, and/or a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed starting Jan and will be for 6 months ongoing.

✅ Setting: Acute care hospital
✅ Shifts: M-F, 8-5
✅ Job Details:
Inpatient responsibilities:
○ Carry a caseload of 10-13 patients
○ Provide consults, subsequent visits, develop discharge plans, work closely with the general cardiologist on call and the other nurse practitioner
Outpatient responsibilities :
○ Nuclear stress testing (9-13 patients/day)
○ Outpatients follow up visits (visits are 30 minutes in length)
○ Prescription refills
○ Review testing results and correspond accordingly with patients

✅ Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Requirements:
📌 Board - certification
📌 MD license in hand
