🩺Cardiology NP Locum Opportunity in Maryland

Job description

Shift Details: Monday – Friday - 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule: 50/50 outpatient and inpatient coverage

Work Details:
- Support staff: MD’s and APP Providers
- Patients per day: 10-13 for inpatient coverage, 9-13 for outpatient coverage

Inpatient responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of 10-13 patients
- Provide consults, subsequent visits, develop discharge plans, work closely with the general cardiologist on call and the other nurse practitioner

Outpatient responsibilities:
- Nuclear stress testing (9-13 patients/day)
- Outpatients follow up visits (visits are 30 minutes in length)
- Prescription refills
- Review testing results and correspond accordingly with patients
- EMR: Cerner

- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90days
