New Cardiology (Inpatient & Outpatient Combo) Opportunity Near Rockville, MD

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new Cardiology Nurse Practitioner opportunity near Rockville, Maryland looking for coverage starting February 2026 and continuing until a permanent provider is found.

• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• Long-term contract (ongoing until perm hire)
• Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5:00p
• 50/50 split between inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Full-time schedule
• Inpatient census: 10–13 patients/day
• Outpatient volume: 9–13 patients/day (includes nuclear stress testing and follow-up visits)
• Support staff: Physicians and APPs
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
