Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Cardiology APP to provide outpatient coverage on a locum tenens basis. This is a clinic-only role: no inpatient rounding, procedural responsibilities, call, or weekend coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage follow-up visits post-procedure

- Conduct annual cardiology visits and acute outpatient visits

- Inbox coverage for providers who are out of the office

- Independently assess, document, and manage complex cardiology patients

- Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic test results

- Collaborate with a team-based clinic (MA, RN, front office staff)

- Patient Volume: ~16 patients/day
- Consultations: None; follow-up and established patient visits only

- EMR: Epic

Compensation / Rate Details

Hourly Rate: $130-140/hr

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification:

WA State License – Required

DEA & NPI – Required

Clean Malpractice – Highly preferred

EXPERIENCE

- Cardiology outpatient experience – Required

- EPIC EMR experience – Required

SKILLS

- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation

- Ability to work independently within a team-based care model

- Proficient in interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostics


TRAVEL& LODGING

- Preferred lodging: Hotel/Airbnb options acceptable

- Air Travel: Some travel possible if out-of-state, but provider should commit to stay locally during scheduled shifts
