Job description

Specialty: Physician Assistant- Cardiovascular Surgery
Location: Iowa City, IA
Contract length: 3 months with option to extension
Schedule: (4) x 10hr Shifts; 7:00 - 17:00

Work Details:
• Adult cardiac cases: CABG, valves, aneurysms, dissections, Impella/LVAD, and heart transplant.
• Patient Population/Age: adult
• Open/endoscopic radial artery harvesting and robotic thoracic experience preferred
• Acute Care Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• License Required: Iowa license
• Certifications Required: BLS & ACLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 3–5 years in cardiothoracic surgery, including 1–3 years as an APP in ICU or cardiothoracic surgery.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 6 weeks
