Cardiac Surgery APP needed in Cleveland OH - asap start

Job description

We are currently seeking a CT Surgery APP for an opportunity in Cleveland, OH.

Position will require 24-hour call and rounding on weekends and holidays.

APP need to be experience in cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery, including robotic thoracic surgery.
Also, needs to be experienced providing for ICU patients and step down.

Work Details:

• Experienced in cardiac and thoracic surgery
o Thoracic - robotic, VATS, and open thoracotomy. 1st assist
o Cardiac - CABG, AVR, MVR, ascending aneurysms, dissections (no robotic), 1st and 2nd assist
o Cardiac- must be able to harvest saphenous vein endoscopically with Hemopro, open radial &/or endoradial a plus
• Manage ICU and step down patients, both cardiac and thoracic
• 24 hour call (not inhouse)
• Knowledgeable with EPIC
• Flexibility to cover to hospitals that are 15 minutes apart drive time
• We have 2 cardiac surgeons and 1 thoracic surgeon, we have 5 PAs
• In regard to how many shifts, we are a 7a - 330p shift and could use someone every weekday. Would like 1 weekday call and 1 weekend call (Fri thru Sun).
