General Cardiologist Needed in Arizona – 6-Month Assignment

Job description

A well-respected Cardiovascular Institute in beautiful central Arizona is seeking a General Cardiologist for a 6-month locum assignment beginning June 2025. This role is outpatient-focused with minimal weekend call. The provider will join a collaborative team of two physicians and enjoy support from experienced staff. Duties include seeing 16–20 patients/day in a clinic setting, with weekend call 1–2 times per month. Cerner EMR. Strong communication skills and at least 2 years of experience required. Willing to wait for the right provider to obtain an AZ or IMLC license. Credentialing takes 30 days.

• Ongoing for 6 months, full-time or 3 weeks/month
• Outpatient clinic + light weekend call (1–2/month)
