Cardiovascular Diseases
This is a bread-and-butter general cardiology role with a mix of outpatient clinic, non-invasive imaging (NIL), and periodic inpatient rounding. Perfect for experienced cardiologists who thrive in both clinical and teaching environments.
Clinic Hours: M–F, half-day outpatient clinic (starting at 8 AM), followed by NIL work in the afternoon
NIL Work:
~15 echos/day
3–5 stress tests or EKGs/day
Inpatient Rounding: 1 full week of rounding every 3–4 weeks (approx. 2 weeks total during contract)
Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Teaching service with residents and medical students
Call Requirements: None

Support Team Includes:
6–7 Cardiologists on service
1 Physician Assistant
NIL RN, Clinic RN, Clinic Scheduler
On-site heart failure clinic staffed by pharmacists
Patient Volume:
Clinic: ~8 patients per half-day
Primarily follow-ups; 2–3 new patients per session
Patient Population: Adult-only
Common Cases:
Advanced heart failure, multi-vessel coronary disease
No cardiac surgery on site – cases are referred out
Device placement available; ablations referred out
Procedures: None required, but option for TEE if trained
