📆 Contract Length: 2 months (through November 30, covering a provider LOA)
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days
📞 Call: No call required

Job Highlights:

✅ Balanced Schedule – Mornings in clinic, afternoons reading NIL (echos, stress tests, EKGs), with inpatient rounding every 3–4 weeks
✅ No Call + Strong Team Support – Work with a collaborative group of 6–7 cardiologists, a PA, nurses, and clinical pharmacists
✅ Flexible Options – Full-time preferred, but part-time providers available at least 2 weeks/month will be considered

Work Structure:

Clinic Schedule: Half-day clinic each weekday morning (8 patients/day, mostly follow-ups)

NIL Duties: 15 echos/day + 3–5 stress tests/EKGs in the afternoons

Inpatient Rounding: 1 week of rounding every 3–4 weeks, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM with residents/med students

Practice Setting: Clinic + Inpatient training hospital (no cardiac surgery on-site; device placement OK, ablations referred out)

Support Staff: Team includes cardiologists, PA, NIL RN, clinic RN, heart failure clinic with pharmacists

Patient Population: Adult only

EMR: Epic

Special Procedures: None required, but transesophageal echocardiogram is optional

Requirements:

Board Certification: BC/BE in Cardiology

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years post-grad; must be autonomous and flexible

License: Active California medical license and CA DEA required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing: 90–120 days
