Locums Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity – California

Highlights:

6-month contract with option to extend (ASAP start; emergency privs possible in ~30 days if no malpractice)

Mix of inpatient & outpatient cardiology at a teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center

Opportunity to teach, conduct echos (TEE/TTE), and work with a diverse patient population

Details:

Schedule: 5x8s, Monday–Friday | Ideally at least 1–2 weeks/month of coverage

Patient load: ~25–30 echos/day | Adults only

EMR: Epic

Support: Echo tech team, inpatient attending always available, interventional cardiologist on call

Procedures: TEE, TTE

Experience: Must have recent high-volume echo reading experience; teaching experience strongly preferred; open to new grads

Requirements:
• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active CA license + DEA (Schedule II)
• BLS required | Advanced Echocardiography Level III preferred
• Bilingual a plus
