Job description

An academic medical center in California is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a 6-month locums assignment with the option to extend. This role offers a teaching hospital environment, a steady weekday schedule, and an all-inclusive compensation package.

Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, or call
- Contract Length: 6 months, option to extend
- Coverage Need: At least 1-2 weeks per month

Practice Details:
- Inpatient & outpatient cardiology coverage
- High-volume echo work
- Support from echo techs, cardiology attendings, and interventional colleagues

Skills & Procedures:
- TEE & TTE
- Interest in heart failure, arrhythmias, imaging, preventive cardiology, or research in health care disparities welcome

Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Active California medical license + DEA
- New grads considered
