Locum Tenens Cardiologist – Balanced Schedule & Cath Lab Exposure – Central Indiana

Job description

A small community hospital in central Indiana is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a 6–9 month locum tenens assignment starting in September.

This is an ideal role for a physician who values clinical balance, autonomy, and a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere. You'll split your time between outpatient clinic and cath lab (approx. 8–10 hrs/week), with no STEMI call and only light call duties (1:2 patient call only). Enjoy modern facilities including a fully equipped Philips cath lab and consistent support from a dedicated care team (RN, MA, NP).

Position Highlights:
• Schedule flexibility: 4.5 days/week or 9-on/10-day cycles
• Cath lab + clinic mix with minimal after-hours responsibility
• Supportive team and manageable patient volume (~30/day)
• EMR: Meditech
• Credentialing: ~60 days
