Locum Tenens Cardiologist (General/Interventional) – Indiana

Job description

We are seeking a General/Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a small community hospital in Indiana. This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible schedule and a mix of office and cath lab work.

Specialty: General/Interventional Cardiology
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6–9 months

📅 Schedule & Shift Details
- 4.5 days/week OR 9 out of 10 days
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 2–3 full days in office + 2 half days in cath lab (8–10 hrs/week in Cath)
- Call: 1:2 (patient calls only); no STEMI call after hours

👩‍⚕️ Work Details
- Support Staff: RN, MA, NP
- Coverage Needed: Full-time (minimum 2 weeks/month availability accepted)
- Population: Adults (18+)
- Department: General/Interventional Cardiology

🩺 Procedures & Skills
- Cardioversion
- Temporary pacemaker placement
- Coronary & peripheral interventions
- Cardiac diagnostic testing interpretations
- Must be able to interpret echos, treadmill tests, Holter monitors, etc.

✅ Requirements
- Board Certification: Required
- License: Active Indiana license (not willing to license)
- DEA & CSR: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS

📋 Credentialing
- Timeframe: 60 days
