General Cardiologist needed in Indiana

Coverage Type: Weekend Coverage
Schedule:
Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM (preferred)
Potential expanded coverage: Thursday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM
Weekend non-invasive rounding (non-invasive and STEMI experience preferred)

Support Staff:

1 APP covering weekends

2 APPs assisting during weekday day shifts

Practice includes 5 Physicians (1 EP, 2 Non-Invasive, 3 Interventional), 1 Manager, 5 PSRs, 6 RNs, 6 MAs

Total APPs in practice: 9 (2 EP, 4 inpatient support, 3 office-only)

Patient Volume: 20–40 patients per weekend (average)

EMR: Epic (experience highly preferred)

Responsibilities:

Non-invasive rounding, including consults and follow-ups for all cardiology patients throughout the hospital and ED

Interpret cardiac imaging and testing

Supervise stress testing ordered over the weekend

If interventional, perform acute procedures as needed during coverage

Practice Setting: Inpatient
