Cardiologist Needed in Indianapolis, IN | Inpatient Rounding | No Call, No Procedures | PRN

Job description

This is a PRN inpatient cardiology opportunity at an acute care hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, focused on rounding with no procedures and no call. The commitment is one to two weeks per month, structured as seven consecutive days per assignment. The role starts as soon as the provider is credentialed and runs approximately 13 weeks, with the option to extend. This is not a local role — candidates within 50 miles should not be submitted.

The physician provides inpatient cardiology consultations, follow-up care, and daily rounding, seeing approximately 18–20 patients per day. There are no invasive procedures and no call. On-site support includes two cardiac hospitalists, and documentation is in Epic, with training available.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Cardiology with an active Indiana medical license, an active Indiana DEA (or one easily transferable), and an active Indiana CSR.
