• Location: Western Montana
• Target Start: August
• Length of commitment: 6 months with the option to extend
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
• Schedule: 1-3 weeks per month
• Call: will be dependent on the staffing level of the hospital. Weekends are 24-hour call, mostly all phone calls. Rarely called in to see patients.
• Support staff: Yes
• Patients per shift: 9-12
• Trauma Level: 2
• EMR: Epic
• Bed in department: 29
• Skills required: Outpatient – Cardiology, Inpatient – Cardiology, ICU
• Tasks for this assignment may include:
o General Cardiology Hospital Rounds and Call Assignments Weekdays, General AM (7am-5pm), General PM (5pm -7am)
o General Cardiology Ambulatory Clinic New Patients, Monday thru Friday (8am -5pm) (clinic hours may vary based on need, providers will be scheduled for 8-hour shift)
o Echo call (Reading echo only) (7a-5p), 25 echo reads per day. Inpatient + echo reads, 12 echo reads per day
o Nuclear Cardiology Interpretations 24 Call assignment as the reader on call. (This is not required, but highly preferred)
o Weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active MT License or IMLC, ACLS,
