Cardiology Locums Opportunity – Montana | Ongoing Coverage

Job description

We’re seeking Board-Certified Cardiologists to provide locums coverage at a Level II hospital in Montana. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for ongoing coverage with a balance of clinic and call responsibilities.

Position Highlights

Ongoing Coverage Need: Starting December 22, 2025, ongoing until permanent hires are secured.

Balanced Schedule: Weekly assignments, Mon 8a–Mon 7a, with clinic during the week and light weekend call (rarely called in).

Collaborative Setting: Work in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology with Epic EMR and a supportive team.

Position Details

Start Date: December 22, 2025

Contract Length: Ongoing until permanent provider(s) hired

Coverage: Ideally 1–3 locums covering a total of 3 weeks/month

Schedule: Weekly blocks, Mon 8a–Mon 7a | Mixture of clinic + weekend call (24h phone call; rarely in-person)

Setting: Hospital and clinic | Level II trauma center

Patient Volume: 9–12 patients per shift

Department Beds: 29

Support Staff: Provided

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certification: Cardiology (required)

Licensure: Active Montana license or IMLC

Fellowship: Preferred

Certifications: ACLS

Credentialing: ~90 days
