Schedule: 7-day blocks | Monday 8AM – Monday 7AM | Mix of Clinic & Call
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient | Epic EMR
Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term Potential

Position Overview

A leading regional health system in the heart of Montana is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide ongoing locum coverage while recruiting permanent providers. This is an ideal opportunity for a physician who values autonomy, collegiality, and the quality of life that comes with practicing in the beautiful Northern Rockies.

You’ll join a supportive and well-staffed cardiology department providing a blend of inpatient and outpatient care. Weekend call is light and primarily phone-based. The role offers flexibility for physicians looking to commit to 7-day stretches — perfect for maintaining work-life balance and travel flexibility.

Highlights
• 7-day blocks (Monday–Monday) with integrated clinic and hospital coverage
• Light call schedule – mostly phone consults, rare call-ins
• Average 9–12 patients per day
• Trauma Level II hospital with full support services
• Epic EMR
• Excellent clinical and administrative support
• Active MT or IMLC license accepted
• Credentialing time: ~90 days

Ideal Candidate
• Board-Certified Cardiologist (Invasive or Non-Invasive)
• ACLS certified
• Comfortable covering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
• Team-oriented and adaptable
