Non-Invasive Cardiologist Needed in Saratoga Springs, NY | 7 On/7 Off | Inpatient Consults | Licensure Flexible

Job description

Start: October 19, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed) | Length: 13 weeks (open to extension)

Coverage: Inpatient non-invasive cardiology consult service
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (or every other week). Hospital rounding Monday-Sunday during the assigned week, approximately 7:00a-5:00p. Overnight call 4 weeknights during the assigned week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) plus one full weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun nights). Option to cover 1-2 weeks per month.

Volume: Average daily census 18-25 | Patient Population: Adults only
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, Level III/IV trauma - inpatient cardiology, group of 5 cardiologists, no satellite locations
Support: 2 APPs on weekdays, 1 APP on weekends; on-site lab and X-ray

Responsibilities:
- Inpatient cardiology consults and daily hospital rounds
- Management of acute cardiac conditions
- Interpret non-invasive cardiac studies - echocardiograms, routine stress tests, EKGs, non-invasive vascular studies, and TEE
- No interventional or cath lab work
- Timely documentation in Epic (with MUSE and GE Centricity)

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Active New York license required, or the ability to obtain one (open to licensure)
- Comfortable practicing independently on an inpatient consult service
- Experience with non-invasive cardiac studies and TEE
