Cardiology Locum Tenens Opportunity in Washington

Start Date: September 1, 2025 | End Date: September 1, 2026
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off | Inpatient + Night Call | Minimum 2 weeks/month
We’re seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for an exciting long-term locum tenens opportunity in Washington State. This role involves inpatient rounding and call coverage at a Level II trauma center with a supportive clinical team. Providers must be comfortable with a variety of non-invasive cardiology procedures.
Position Highlights:
Long-Term Stability: 12-month assignment with potential to extend, offering consistent 7 on / 7 off inpatient coverage.
Strong Clinical Support: Work with an experienced team using Epic EMR; average 5–10 patients per shift.
Diverse Case Exposure: Includes TEE, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and general inpatient cardiology work.
Position Details:
Coverage: Inpatient rounding 7a–7p + night call
Patient Population: Adult
Trauma Level: II
Required Skills: Non-invasive cardiology, TEE, nuclear, echo
EMR: Epic
Fellowship: Preferred but not required
Requirements:
Board Certification in Cardiology
Active WA license or IMLC eligibility
ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
