Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a long-term inpatient consult assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position offers flexible scheduling, excellent support staff, and no call responsibilities.

Position Details:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (~60 days)
Contract Length: 1-year preferred
Schedule: Monday–Friday or 7on/7off | 8-hour shifts
Call: None
Setting: Inpatient only | Consults only (no ICU, no follow-ups)
Support Staff: NP and PA team
EMR: Cerner
Hospital Size: 1,078 beds
Average Patient Load: ~10 per day
Required Skills: Cardiograms, Nuclear Stress Tests

Requirements:
Board Certification in Cardiology (Required)
Active state medical license or IMLC eligibility (client will assist with licensing)
Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days
