General Cardiologist Needed in La Crosse, WI | Hospital Service + 1:4 Call | Ongoing

Job description

Start: October 5, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Approximately 13 weeks / 3 months, ongoing (open to extension)
Coverage: Hospital cardiology service with call
Schedule: Hospital service 8:00a-5:00p; on call 5:00p-8:00a
Call: On-call required, 1:4 rotation (approximately 2-7 calls per night)
Volume: Approximately 10 admissions daily
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital - hospital cardiology service
Support: Team of 7 MDs and 3 NP/PAs plus nursing staff
General cardiology hospital service coverage and management
Read ECG and echocardiograms
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in General Cardiology (ABIM), with cardiovascular disease fellowship required
1-3+ years of experience
Comfortable reading ECG and echocardiograms
Active Wisconsin license required
DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
Epic experience

Hospital service 8:00a-5:00p, plus 1:4 call (5:00p-8:00a)
