Beacon House Aftercare is a respected recovery community helping individuals rebuild their lives from substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are seeking a Clinical Manager/Therapist to lead clinical operations and provide direct client services in our IOP program.
Position Summary
The Clinical Manager/Therapist is both a licensed clinician and program leader. This role oversees all outpatient treatment activities while providing direct therapy services to clients. You’ll ensure compliance with Kentucky Medicaid and AODE regulations (908 KAR 1:374), guide peer and case management staff, and maintain the highest standards of trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical supervision for 1 Case Manager and 4 Peer Support Specialists.
• Review, co-sign, and approve assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Conduct biopsychosocial and ASAM assessments; develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions and perform individual counseling.
• Monitor documentation quality and program compliance for Medicaid billing readiness.
• Participate in program development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• Education: Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensure: Active Kentucky license (LCSW, LPCC, or LCADC required).
• Experience: 3+ years in behavioral health/substance use treatment; 1+ year in supervision or management.
• Skills: Strong leadership, clinical documentation, and crisis intervention abilities.
• EMR proficiency (KIPU experience preferred).
