About the clinician's workday

The assignment is for three months with the option to extend, starting as soon as credentialed (about 30 days). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with no call. The role involves treating a range of mental health conditions including suicidal ideation, family dysfunction, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and behavioral or developmental issues with 45-minute initial evaluations and 15-minute follow-ups, averaging 5-7 patients per day. The patient population includes Kindergarten through 8th grade in schools and a lifespan mix at the outpatient clinic. The EMR system used is Athena, and the treatment team includes a Behavioral Health Case Manager, Medical Director, Remote Psychiatrist, counselors, and school nurses.
