Position Overview:
The Assistant Director of Behavioral Health leads daily operations and clinical oversight for the Behavioral Health Department, ensuring children receive appropriate services in line with ORR policies and State Licensing Standards.
Salary:
$105,300 - $120,000 (varies based on experience, skills, and location).
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Behavioral Health Department to ensure clinically appropriate care.
• Maintain a relationship-based therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure compliance with safety programs and regulations.
• Facilitate teamwork and professional development for clinical staff.
• Ensure quality standards and clinical records meet audit requirements.
• Exhibit cultural awareness when interacting with children and families.
• Supervise staff, delegate tasks, and promote accountability.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or relevant field (PhD preferred).
• Licensed to provide clinical services in the state of employment.
• 5+ years of behavioral health experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
