A multidisciplinary Program that provides outpatient services including telehealth for therapy is seeking an LCSW for locum tenens coverage.

The facility's physical location is in Texas. This is a fully remote opportunity that requires a GA license.

About the clinician's workday

A full-time telehealth opportunity is available for an LPC or LCSW to provide therapy for adults, including older patients. The provider will manage a caseload of 18-20 patients, typically seeing 3-5 patients per day, with flexible scheduling Monday-Friday. Patients, many of whom have PTSD with dual diagnoses such as MDD, anxiety, and sleep disturbances, have been exposed to combat zones and extreme trauma, including sexual assault. They are assigned to a therapist for six months following an initial psychological evaluation. Sessions are documented in HIPAA-compliant software, with notes securely sent via EMR or email to clients and attorneys assisting with court cases for patient benefits. A psychologist re-evaluates patients after six months to determine the continuation or discharge of therapy.
