An outpatient clinic is seeking a primary counselor for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in West Central Georgia, about 60 miles southwest of Atlanta.

About the clinician's workday

This is a full-time, onsite position, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The clinician will be the primary counselor for the C&A population. Time will be split between the primary location and the second location, which is about 35 minutes away. The counselor will need to complete initial assessments for outpatient care after being discharged from the client's hospital or Crisis Stabilization unit. There will be 2-2.5 hours for initial Behavioral Health Assessment. The counselor will be responsible for determining an outpatient care plan for the patient and working with a team of Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, and Therapists. The clinician may be asked to communicate skills, and a team player mentality is a must. The clinic uses CareLogic EMR, and credentialing takes approximately 30 days.
