About the clinician's workday
A full-time therapist is needed for a correctional facility, working on-site MondayFriday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves providing individual therapy focused on basic coping skills and suicide risk assessments for adult male and female inmates (18+). Sessions last 1530 minutes, with a caseload of 1520 patients per day. The facility uses CorEMR, and security is available during sessions. The therapist will assess diagnoses and refer patients to the on-site NP for medication management if needed.
