Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Needed in New York

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Dermatology (Outpatient)
Target Start Date: February 16, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Contract Length: Through August 31, 2026 (approx. 26‑week locum tenens assignment)

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Shift Structure:

Monday–Friday, full‑time day shifts

8:00 AM–4:30 PM

No call

Flexible scheduling considered

Patient Volume: 25–35 patients per day
EMR: Epic (recent experience required)

Practice Details
Setting: Outpatient dermatology clinic with potential float support to a secondary dermatology site
Patient Population: General dermatology
Support: Standard outpatient dermatology support staff
Clinical Scope Includes:

General dermatology visits

Evaluation and management of common dermatologic conditions

Procedures as appropriate to scope and experience

Documentation and charting in Epic

Independent practice within outpatient dermatology

Additional Notes:

Emergency privileges will be granted

Primary coverage at one dermatology clinic with possible float to a secondary location

Consistent Monday–Friday schedule

Credentialing lead time: ~4–6 weeks

Requirements
Board‑certified NP or PA

Active state license (must be in hand; not willing to license)

BLS required

Recent Epic experience required

Dermatology experience strongly preferred

Location
Clifton Springs, New York area — outpatient dermatology clinic with potential float to a nearby dermatology site
