Job description

The Physician Assistant provides quality, medical dermatological care by treating conditions of the skin while ensuring the highest standard of patient care, under the supervision of a board-certified physician. Provides advanced practice health care services as well as documentation of services, collaborates with colleagues and clinical Directors and with supervising physician. Participates in quality assurance and demonstrates a commitment to quality health care. Position offers a competitive salary and robust recruitment package. Clinic hours (4X10s or 5X8s) available.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a Physician Assistant Program
Must have current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant from the Texas Medical Board
Board certified NCCPA or related
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology or similar specialty
Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty
Must be registered and have current DEA
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association
