Dermatology Locum Needed in Bay Area!

Dermatology Locum Tenens – California
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Contract Length: 5 months
Schedule: Full-time, M-F
• Monday–Thursday: Clinic coverage, 8a–12p & 1p–5p
• Friday: Half-day telehealth e-consults (store & forward)
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
Call Requirements:
• Daytime call concurrent with clinic coverage
• Average 1 call/day, typically during lunch (12–1p) or after clinic (5p)

Work Details:
• Patients per day: 20–25 adults
• Mix of general and complex medical dermatology
• EMR: Epic
• Procedures: Basic punch/shave, ED&C; no Mohs
• Support staff: Dedicated MA, LVN, scheduler, and rooms on site

Practice Setting:
• Predominantly outpatient clinic
• Academic/training and hospital-based environment

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Dermatology
• Active CA license
• DEA required
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1+ year experience
• Experience in a teaching facility and Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
