Locum Tenens Dermatologist – Outpatient Clinic | Oregon

Job description

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist with an active Oregon medical license for an outpatient locum opportunity starting in July 2025. This position offers a flexible, well-supported schedule with a steady patient volume and no hospital privileges required.

Assignment Details:
Location: Oregon (OR license required)

Specialty: Dermatology

Start Date: July 17, 2025

End Date: December 31, 2025

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Setting: Outpatient clinic

EMR: EPIC

Proposed Schedule (Flexible):
Clinic:
• 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (4 patients/hour)
• 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM (Admin)
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (4 patients/hour)
• 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Admin)

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM (unpaid)

Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours (30 clinical + 6 admin) over 4 days

Work Details:
Patients per shift: 24–30

Support Staff: Yes

Patient Population: General dermatology, adult

Procedures: Outpatient, surgical biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation, cryosurgery

Credentialing: Payor credentialing only (no hospital privileges needed)

Requirements:
Board Certification: Dermatology (required)

Licensure: Active Oregon license (required)

Certifications: BLS
