Emergency Medicine APP (Locums – Indiana)

Job description

A busy Emergency Department in Indiana is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for locum coverage. Providers will manage patient volumes of approximately 15–20 per shift in ED Main, 10–12 in ED East, and 15–20 in Express Care.

Schedules include ED Main 10a–10p, ED East 10a–8p/10p, and Express Care 8a–8p or 8a–6p. ED Main has 22 beds with 5 hall beds and 6 fast-track beds; ED East has 11 beds; Express Care has 6 beds. The EMR system used is Meditech.

Physicians on-site will handle the most critical cases, including trauma and severe emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity for adaptable APPs confident in providing high-quality care in a busy ER environment.
