Locum NP needed in Oregon for Emergency Medicine

Location: Oregon
Rate: Hourly
Expenses: Flight, Hotel, Rental Car
Start Date - ASAP - ongoing until FT is hired
Schedule -shifts are 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am
# Shifts Per Month - 8 - 12
FNP and or ENP - BC Preferred
Minimum of five (5) years EM experience REQUIRED
Is there an ICU - NA
Trauma Level - IV
What dates are you looking to have the Locum start? ASAP
What procedures are required? perform most standard ED procedures including suturing, reductions, FB removal, epistaxis control, etc.
Patient Volume provider should expect to see each day: waiting on client
Physician support Staff: Yes - Doc shifts are 8a-8p, 8p-8a. NP shift will always have doc coverage during their shift
What EMR System do you utilize? Epic
Beds:
Credentialing Timeline: Able to provide temps with OR license and clean background history.

NPs are expected to practice independently and should be comfortable practicing in a small community hospital with limited subspecialty backup. They should be comfortable seeing pediatric to geriatric patients and perform most standard ED procedures including suturing, reductions, FB removal, epistaxis control, etc. They are unlikely to perform high acuity procedures such as intubation, central line, chest tubes.
