Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse (ER Nurse) to join our team. Our Emergency Room is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for providing top-notch patient care. Responsibilities & Duties
-Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity
-Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
-Monitor patient vital signs and document medical information
-Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and healthcare team members
-Provide wound care and emergency medical interventions
-Prepare patients for surgeries, procedures, and diagnostic tests
-Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments
-Maintain a sterile and safe working environment
-Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
-Assist in the management of patient admissions and discharges
-Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
-Conduct ongoing assessments and reassessments of patient conditions
-Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and blood draws
-Handle administrative tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment

Qualifications
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
-Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
-Triage nurse training
-Experience in a high-volume emergency room
-Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred
